I was born in Oregon and raised all across this beautiful state from Moro to Lincoln City, Portland, to Corvallis.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Dance from University of Oregon in 2008, I worked at a small manufacturing company in Albany until 2021.  Over the course of my work experience I gained proficiency in many different operational needs such as: auditing business, manufacturing and quality processes; managing customer relations, contract review, delivery and manufacturing schedules; and managing business-wide compliance with local, state and federal regulations related to environmental, import/export, firearms, aerospace and defense.  Some of my most rewarding professional experiences were translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable items for affected business units.  It was those rewarding experiences which led me to being a lawyer, a job which gives me the privilege of advising my clients on how to navigate the complex issues that arise in the ownership and management of businesses and property.

When I am not in the office, I can often be found getting my hands dirty on my latest home improvement or gardening project, or exploring Oregon’s outdoors, arts and culture with my family.

Navigating business operations and real estate transactions in our modern society can be a mire of complex laws and regulations.  It is my privilege to translate those laws and regulations into understandable concepts for my clients so they can make informed decisions. Each client has their own goals and every transaction comes with its own risks and rewards to manage.  I see my role as a business attorney to advise, and counsel my clients on the various options available to achieve their goals, including the risks, costs and likelihood of results.  When advising my clients, I draw from my wealth of experience developing practical business solutions combined with an understanding of the laws and regulations that apply.
